How MBN Foundation collects, publishes and keeps the details you give when you join the MBN Directory, and how to reach us about them.
Who we are
Maratha Business Network Foundation ([legal form and registration number], [registered address]) runs the MBN Directory and decides how your details are used.
What we collect
From the form: business name, your name, category, the line about your business, area, city, mobile number, and — if you give them — WhatsApp number, email, address, website or social media page.
For payment: the amount, the UPI reference number you enter and the date. We also record when you applied, and when and by whom your application was approved or declined, or your listing removed and why.
What we publish
Everything you give on the form is published in the MBN Directory: on this website, where anyone can see it and search engines can list it, and in the printed directory. Payment details are never published.
Why
To list your business online and in print, to check your payment, to contact you about your listing and its renewal, and to invite you to the MBN events included with your listing.
Your choice
Publishing your details is what the directory is for, so you give them to join. Leave out any optional field you don't want published.
You can ask us to change or remove your listing at any time; printed copies already handed out can't be recalled.
Who sees what
The listing: everyone. Payment details: only MBN's approvers, who each sign in with their own account.
Details are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website and its database for us. [confirm: we don't sell your details.]
Security checks and visit counts
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is applying, using technical signals from your browser.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to this site without cookies and without identifying you.
While you pay, this browser keeps your application number and the details on the payment step, so a reload doesn't lose them. They are removed when your payment reference is sent, or when you start again.
How long we keep it
While your listing is current. A lapsed listing is hidden; we delete its details [12 months] after it lapses unless you renew.
Payment records are kept for [the period tax and accounting law requires — confirm].
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for a summary of your details, have them corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
